Sports bet types
Before choosing a match, understand the shape of the slip. The bet type decides how risk and the bookmaker's margin work. This is a general explanation and does not describe Ekatoto's specific rules.
Single
One selection, one outcome. The simplest form and the easiest to control. You pay the bookmaker's margin once.
Accumulator
Several selections on one slip, odds multiplied, and all must win. The potential return is large, but the margin compounds with every extra leg. That is why long accumulators are almost always poor value, however tempting they look. In Indonesia this is usually called mix parlay.

Illustration only: suppose each selection carries a margin of about five percent. On a single you pay it once. On a three-leg accumulator it stacks on every leg, so the total margin on the slip is far larger. The big number on an accumulator slip is partly compensation for a tiny probability and partly margin multiplied.
System bets
A set of smaller accumulators built from one list of picks. From three picks, for example, you might place three doubles. The slip can still pay if one pick loses, but the total cost is higher because you are paying for several slips at once.
Handicaps
A virtual advantage or deficit given to one side, which keeps lopsided matches interesting on both sides of the market.
Over/under
A bet on total goals, points or games, regardless of who wins.
Voids and payout caps
If a match in an accumulator is postponed or cancelled, that leg is usually settled at odds of 1 and the slip carries on with the remaining picks. Bookmakers also often cap the maximum payout per slip, so very high combined odds may never be paid in full. Both rules are in the sportsbook terms.
Slips and your balance
An unsettled accumulator ties up its stake until the last match ends. If you want to withdraw, make sure no slips are open and no bonus is locking the balance; see how to withdraw. If keeping spending measurable is your aim, fixed-stake singles are the easiest to record.
Choosing a slip that fits a budget
Accumulators and system bets make total spending harder to see, because one slip can contain many small bets at once. A monthly review of your bet history next to your e-wallet or bank history shows what the slips really cost.
