Cricket betting
Cricket is not widely followed in Indonesia, but it features in many international sportsbooks because of its huge audience in South Asia. If you do not follow it, this page covers the basics so you do not bet on something you do not understand. We do not name markets or odds available at Ekatoto.
The three main formats
Test matches last up to five days and can end in a draw. One Day Internationals are played in a day with a limited number of overs. T20 is the fastest format, finished in a few hours. The format decides which markets exist and how likely a draw is.
Common markets
- Match winner, including the draw in Tests.
- A team's total runs in an innings.
- Top batter.
- Method of dismissal or number of wickets.

Rain and settlement
Rain can cut cricket matches short, and results are sometimes decided by a special calculation method. The bookmaker's rules on interrupted or abandoned matches decide whether bets are settled or refunded. Read them first.
The toss
The side that wins the coin toss chooses to bat or bowl first, a choice shaped by pitch and weather. Odds can move sharply after the toss, so betting before it means accepting that uncertainty.
Don't bet on what you can't explain
If you cannot explain the rules of the sport, you have no basis for judging the odds. At that point a bet is a guess with the bookmaker's margin built in. Skip it.
Long matches, long temptation
Tests run for days and offer in-play betting almost without pause; T20 leagues pack a match into nearly every evening of a short season. Set a limit at the start and keep a log of every bet next to the deposits from your wallet. Winnings reach the balance once markets are settled, and payouts follow the same route as the casino, including KTP verification.
Player markets
Top-batter and similar markets depend on who actually bats, and rules for players who are left out or do not bat differ between bookmakers. Read the rule before betting on an individual.
